He was Pakistan’s top bowler in white-ball cricket, and his unique and challenging bowling action made him one of the fiercest bowlers around the world. Sohail has 54 T20I wickets to his name and has taken 389 T20 wickets overall.
He was also part of Pakistan’s T20 World Cup-winning squad in 2009. Sohail was Rajasthan Royals’ highest wicket-taker in the first edition of the IPL in 2008 and helped them win their maiden IPL title.
He has since represented Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultans, and Quetta Gladiators in the PSL, taking 55 wickets in 61 matches.
