Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Imran Khan, has strongly condemned the attack on Jinnah House. He stated that this incident has brought disrepute to Pakistan and should never have happened.
During an informal conversation at Lahore High Court, a journalist asked Imran Khan if he condemns the attack on Jinnah House. In response, Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf stated that he condemns the attack and it has brought disrepute to Pakistan. He mentioned that such an incident should never have occurred.
He said that they have opened their doors to the media and there is no truth in the claims of terrorists finding refuge in their homes. The country has been defamed due to the actions of the opposition party and their human rights violations.
Imran Khan stated that a country cannot function in an environment of fear. He mentioned that the opposition party, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), has trapped itself by arresting 7,000 people. That is why it was said that matters will be resolved within a week.
Imran Khan further stated that a party with a vote bank cannot be ignored. The presence or absence of any individual in a party with such a large vote bank does not make a difference.
In response to a question, he said that one-sided negotiations cannot take place. They have been discussing negotiations for the past 11 months.
