The People’s Party has announced protests across Sindh province yesterday (Friday) against the extended duration of the local election schedule by the Election Commission.
Nisar Khoro, the President of PPP Sindh, stated that the party will protest against the delayed actions at all district headquarters. He said that extending the duration of the election schedule is playing with the rights of municipal representatives.
Nisar Khoro rejected the delayed actions of the Election Commission and demanded a reconsideration of the municipal election schedule. He suggested reducing the number of days in the schedule. He mentioned that municipal representatives have been waiting for a year, and further delays should be rejected. He demanded an immediate reduction in the schedule duration and an opportunity for municipal representatives to assume their responsibilities promptly.
