Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced plans to hold rallies across the country to mobilize the public and put pressure on the government to hold general elections.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan has released guidelines for the party officials regarding the rallies, which will also show support for the judiciary of Pakistan.
Khan has emphasized the importance of political stability for economic growth and cited the Supreme Court’s verdict in calling for general elections.
He stated that a government with a public mandate would increase people’s confidence and stressed the need for institutions to come together and agree on reforms.
Furthermore, he pointed out that no government could solve the country’s issues alone.
